No More Rose Colored Glasses

So I went to the new house today do get some measurements and to attempt to draw up a floor plan. It was like I was seeing it for the first time, without the pressure of trying to find someplace to live comfortably for the whole family. There is a lot of cosmetic issues with the interior of the house. Some of them are small and are probably easy fixes, some of them are just a serious need for new paint, but a few are beyond my abilities. The dining room needs to be painted, the living room has antique wallpaper that is partially removed so it all needs to come down, the wall needs plaster and it needs to be painted. There is an old door frame that was closed up on the opposite side and it would make great built in shelving, and the molding around the frames in the living room need to be replaced. The stairs, wow, the ceiling above the bottom stairs needs sheetrock, there a few stairs that need new board, and preferably carpeting on them. Paint on the walls around on the steps and a handrail. Upstairs at the top of the steps and hallway the paint/wallpaper is peeling and needs to be removed and painted. In one bedroom there is a board that runs across the floor that is bubbled up and someone put duct tape on it to hold it down. Beyond that there is rooms to be painted and lights that need fixtures.

It seems like so much, but it was nice to put it all down like this, it kind of puts it into perspective. Maybe its not all that hard, but I would def need help to complete it all. It will take time but I will figure it out, since I have to do it all alone.

I am open to suggestions.
